Portugal: confirmed the decrease of employment and the increase of unemployment rate in 2013!
So how is possible Government talk about employment creation? In last quarter of 2013 compared with the last quarter of 2012 with a high level of unemployment, the positive resultant of 29.700 persons are implicated by homologous increases in services: in first place General Government (how is possible, 24.700 persons?!!!), folowed by Retail sales and Wholesale trade (23.800), Accomodation and food service (22.700) and other services. Agriculture, Manufacturing and Construction lost 79.700 persons, Population lost 116.700 persons. Except accomodation that services are not linked to External Demand. This is not a trend, what we can see until this moment, in official statistics, it´s a lot of decreases of employments and increases of unemployments and under employments after 2010!
